05 May, 2022 - The English Literature Association held its first book sharing session on May 6th, 2022. Yi Tong and Zhang Junxiao, the presidents of the Association, hosted the meeting.

Under the theme of “Love”, the book shared in this session was A Letter from an Unknown Woman written by Stefan Zweig, which had received the most votes in the Picking Your Book poll. After a brief introduction to the plot, the salon entered the discussion section, in which students raised questions and expressed their thoughts concerning the settings, characters and themes. I only have you. You have never known me, but I always love you. The session ended with Zhang Junxiao sharing the film version of the story.

The English Literature Association is a club established by Dr. Sana Achoui, Yi Tong and Zhang Junxiao, aiming to enable more people to know the beauty of English literature by sharing classic works and films. The Association holds a book sharing session each month and welcomes everyone interested to join.
